Year 6 leaders joined more than 560 students from schools across the Archdiocese of Brisbane for the launch of Project Compassion.
During the launch, Archbishop Shane Mackinlay encouraged everyone to take the message back to their school and parish communities: to reflect, pray and take action, and to stand together in hope for a more just world, especially throughout Lent.
This week, the Project Compassion Boxes will be placed in the classrooms, marking the beginning of our school’s support for this vital initiative. Through Project Compassion, we help transform lives by providing access to clean water, education, healthcare and opportunities for communities facing poverty and injustice.
We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 leaders for sharing this message of faith, compassion and action within our St Edward’s community.
